This Privacy Policy explains how HotRossCasino (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal information when you visit hotrosscasino.com (the “Site”). HotRossCasino is an independent editorial site covering Hot Ross by Hacksaw Gaming and the Canadian-facing casinos that offer it. We are not a casino operator and we don’t process gambling transactions, deposits or withdrawals.

2.2 Provided voluntarily. If you email megan@hotrosscasino.com, we receive your address and message. We have no contact forms, account registration or comment systems.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses a small number of cookies:

  • A session cookie remembering whether you’ve dismissed the bonus pop-up.
  • Analytics cookies (if Google Analytics or a privacy-respecting alternative is active) counting page views and aggregate usage.
  • Affiliate-tracking cookies set by third-party casino partners when you click an outbound /go/ link.

You can disable cookies in your browser. The Site still works without them, though the bonus pop-up may reappear each visit.

3. How We Use Information

We use the above strictly for:

5. Affiliate Disclosure

HotRossCasino earns affiliate commission when visitors click through to partner casinos via /go/ links and then register or wager real money. The casino pays it, not you, and it doesn’t affect the price of anything you use. 6. Data Retention

Server access logs are kept up to 90 days for security and debugging, then deleted. Email correspondence is kept while operationally relevant, typically up to 24 months. Aggregated analytics are kept indefinitely in non-personal form.

7. Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, GDPR, you have these rights over personal information we hold about you:

  • Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold.
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — ask us to erase data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Withdrawal of consent — opt out of analytics or cookies via your browser.
  • Complaint — complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) if you believe we mishandled your information.

8. International Transfers

The Site runs on infrastructure that may store data in Canada, the United States or the European Union. Using the Site, you consent to your data being processed in these regions under their respective data-protection regimes.

9. Security

We use HTTPS for all Site traffic and follow industry-standard practices for the limited data we hold. No internet transmission is fully secure — if you believe a communication has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. Children

HotRossCasino is a gambling-related publication for adults only. The Site is not directed at, and we don’t knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has interacted with the Site, contact us so we can investigate and delete any associated data.
